Dried Mahua Flowers (1 Tbsp)
Fennel Seeds
Water (2 cups)
Honey (1 tsp) (Optional)
Lemon (1 slice, to garnish)
Directions
- In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add Mahua flowers and fennel seeds.
- Lower the heat to a simmer and let it steep for 4 - 5 minutes allowing the floral and fennel flavors to infuse.
- Strain the tea into cups using a fine mess sieve.
- Stir in honey for sweetness, if desired, and garnish with a slice of lemon for a hint of tanginess.
- Serve hot and enjoy the soothing, aromatic mahua tea.
